how about Badlands PowerFuels? is that a good company to work for?
I've heard good and bad. They've tripled in size the past few years and might be getting too big. Newer equipment and locations in quite a few places. They just hire truckdrivers though. Maybe shop type positions as well. Locally owned and probably not a lot of room to move up in the world. Same as any local company. There is no where else to transfer IF things were to slow down here. The NOV's and Baker Hughes of the world have work globally and much more room to advance to management type roles.
Let me speed your learning curve up a few years; ma man.
If you ever see CNN, MSNBC, CBS announcing something things are at the peak. ie The hiring for Inexperienced is very saturated. example no CDL or atleast CDL permit moves you to the back of the long line for the oil field in ND.
Look at the other places; trust me on this. Chesapeak Energy is taking newbie Student Drivers even to fill there ranks. All the experience is in ND! Get in the game.
My husband has worked for Badlands Power Fuels for a year and a half. He is very satisfied with his driving job and with housing. Power Fuels is currently building even more housing for it's employees and their families. Life is a wonderful thing when you enjoy what you do AND get paid well!
