I am waiting until spring to possibly make the move to North Dakota. I imagine a lot of people across the country are thinking the same thing. Any on the forum with same plan?

Thanks
Jasper Hobbs

Yep. That seems to be the best plan. That way, I manage to avoid freezing to death while I find housing.

There will still be jobs open in the spring, unfortunately housing will be very slim pickins due to all the people with the same idea to wait for the spring. I live up here and will be heading to work out there in the spring after my back heals up from surgery, unless I get this Land Agent job which involves no labor then I will be starting very soon.

North Dakota is having a pretty mild winter, just like everyone else.

But even still, winter is NOT that bad. Or so my DH keeps telling me. "I didn't mind the winters when we lived up there..." lol

I think there are two schools of thought so far as waiting. First of all, work all across the board will pick up, so hiring will too. But at the same time, my husband is looking NOW because he wants to get well established while the wienies are scared off by winter.
