Does anybody know where to go to watch the out-of-town NFL teams play ? I'm leaving my beloved bowling alley, where they have 12 screens and NFL SUnday Ticket...and all the games are on. I'd like to stay close to Hawley/Paupacken Lake/Hamelin area.
Ladies...where do your men go on Sundays?

You're not asking me to get him out of the house, are you? I don't even know where the games are yet!

Oh, for cryin' out loud. Mute the TV! What, do they really need the play-by-play on cars going around in circles?
I feel for you. This is why I'm only going to ask about Direct TV as a last resort. My wife wants the house to herself on Sundays, and I don't blame her one bit. I really get into the games. I just have to find someplace to watch football.

I'll ask around for you...there has got to be someplace.

Have you tried the Backdraft bar near the Hideout on Route 590. That's a possibility. Or maybe you could put another TV in the garage and invite some friends over to watch the game with you!

Like Doug on King of Queens!!
Backdraft is a good suggestion. That's about the only place I can think of. Here in The Hideout, we have our own pub with a large screen TV that draws the sports crowd.

Nope. 'BackDraft' does not have the "NFL Sunday Ticket". I went in the other day, and the bartender said they show whatever's on tv.
The big, flashy sign out front is a little deceptive.
Oh, well. Back to looking again.
