You do realize one or two well placed phone calls will have answered your question in about three minutes. Granted, a person here may just have the answer but that leaves the bigger question, why ask here????

Why ask here? I thought that someone from Wilkes-Barre could just feed me the answer. I tried an internet search, but became frustrated and gave up. I'm hip deep in paperwork right now and didn't think to make a call. Though your answer rather annoyed me--why respond if you don't have the answer--it did prompt me to call Wegmans. Mystery solved.

Why did I need to know the price of garbage bags when I was doing paperwork? I am preparing to file my mother's estate taxes.

As much as I enjoy the benefits of modern technology, I still try to adhere to the old saying "KISS" Keep It Simple Stupid. From what I see, it was the most efficient. And really, if you need the bags, the cost is of no concern.

Probably less time that you spent not answering the question. LOL

The cost is of concern because about $100 dollars was spent on trash bags.

Have you ever been the executor of an estate? I don't think so. I had hundreds.... and hundreds of dollars of out-of-pocket expenses before I had access to mom's bank accounts or could set up an estate account. I don't have a lot of disposable income. Accurate accounting of expenses is important to me.

I guess, as executrix of estate, that I am supposed to be completely emotionally removed from this matter. That's not the case.

Yeah...I guess you're right. <sigh> But at least my post had a point unlike the majority of yours that were used to just rack up points for the most active post contest. How does it feel to realize you can be bought for a mere $500 bucks? LOL

Criticizing someone for asking a question on a discussion forum is not making a point.
