Hills Creek is nicer in the more modern and clean sense than most PA state parks. There is good fishing, a swimming area, a little store, cabins, yurts, boat rental. It's convenient to Mansfield, Wellsboro or even a day trip to Corning. I don't think the trails at HC are overly memorable, but it makes a great base for exploring the surrounding attractions in Tioga County (PA Grand Canyon, Tioga-Hammond/Cowanesque Lakes - the train ride makes a nice acitvity). In other words, Hills Creek camping would be more "comfortable" to many people than staying directly at Colton Point or Leonard Harrison right at the canyon.

yes. we went there and had a great time. each campsite has trees. it is great for shade and privacy. the swimming area was nice too. I'm glad we went.

It is a really nice camp ground. The facilities are clean, the setting is nice, and the lake is great.
