Feds bust mayors, others in N.J. sweep - Crime & courts- msnbc.com

Even though this is breaking news in NJ, it would be interesting to know if any major corruption occured in the past in NEPA.

Corruption and NEPA are synonymous.

I have seen it at school districts and I am sure it is rampant everywhere else, it just has not been as big as the bust in NJ.

We just had 2 judges plead guilty to corruption charges beside 2 county officials and a few school district directors. When you have judges pleading guilty to corruption I don't think it gets more rampant than that. This is an ongoing investigation and I think you can expect many more indictments shortly. Possibly another judge or two, at least one of them is under the microscope. I'm also expecting more county officials to fall, private citizens and probably a handful of school officials.

Believe me, If Judge Ciaverrella had thought of removing the kidneys of the juvenile's that went before him...If he knew he could've made a profit on that, I'm sure he would've done that too! We are not #1 for corruption anymore! we have been displaced by New Jersey! Now we are a lousy #2!
