It's as simple as that and myself as both a parent and a High School History teacher do not want my daughter or my students to be subjected to any such requests.
... I see this as passive aggressive ..

DO NOT ENGAGE ... because I don't like you

Eyes,
AGAIN, when did I do any of which you have charged me with. I agree with you about the job of a teacher and have never stated anything other. I understand what you are saying and I agree, however you have seemingly charged me with something I have not committed.

Everthing the President does is planned. All they had to do was release the transcript and or video at the start of the uproar. They had to know that this was going to be questioned.

Do you pre-screen every lesson plan your kids' teachers present?

Eyes is telling me that I'm forcing my opinions on students and you are telling me that I am getting my opinions from certain news organizations? You should not make blank statements about people that you do not know.

Passive-aggressive, huh. No, I was just making a statement. There is no reason to be aggressive. This is an online forum and obviously no one here is converting anyone anytime soon so why go for the throat in a simple discussion over something that people have a fundamental difference over.

Yes, I most certainly am. I just don't filter what my son sees/hears/reads on a daily basis. We talk. A LOT. I don't see how a 20 min speech is going to make or break him.
