I think if you do a search we did have a thread on this a while back. We have AT&T, always have out here and never a problem. I'm sure you'll find plenty of input

I had AT&T, used to live in Pittston, and frequented Scranton. I never had trouble. Oddly enough the town of Hughestown (Pittston suburb) was the only place where reception was ever spotty. I also used to hit a dead zone sometimes along the Cross-Valley Expressway near Wilkes-Barre. Verizon has good coverage as well, judging from my friends' experiences.

We live in Dallas (not far from Pittston). My husband has AT&T for his work phone but can't get service in our own house! Verizon works fine, though.

Verizon works just about everywhere, I have friends with AT&T and have no service way out in the mountains.

I have Verizon. Works everywhere. I have co-workers with ATT that live in the Clark Summit area and can't get coverage at their homes-poor signal- but are fine in the city.

I also have Verizon. Never had a service related issue. Unless you can get a much better rateplan from AT&T, you're probably better off sticking with what you have. Plus, you can bundle Verizon wireless with an internet package for more of a savings.

(I tried searching this topic and couldn't find anything.)

Thank you for your responses. I think we'll stay with Verizon.

I don't have any experience with Verizon cell phone service, but I wasn't thrilled with their home phone service. I had AT&T and don't like them at all. I currently have Sprint, and I haven't had any problems.

i have Verizon, i have friends with AT&, and friends with Sprint. all the services are about the same. it's better to choose by friends/family's network or phone plans these days. most of my calling is to Verizon, so it is cost efficient for me to stay with Verizon (free in network calling and texting).
