Does anyone have any recommendations on great spots to take some winter photos in the northeastern Pa. area? My husband and I would love to hear any ideas. We've been to montage mountain and francis slocum park and would like to go around and capture a few more. Thank you.

sky top lodge has beautiful grounds , promised land state park, the town of honesdale is real colorful.

alot of nepa is more about making the photogenic spots rather then finding them ready to go. yes you do have spots like bushkill falls or skytop but most of nepas fun is the back country roads,.. the old farms and farm equipment , the barns etc....... found these just driving down a road.

These are some excellent shots - - - is that stone building a resort of some type or?? Very nice compositional pieces with the old farm equipment; and agree wholeheartedly with your statement of "finding" spots for creating one's works.

Lackawaxen, where the Lackawaxen river meets the Delaware. It is beautiful, Zane Greys house is there and the Roebling bridge. You could even get some shots of Bald Eagles there. It is a very beautiful area.
