The pear tree next door is red-red-red this year. My dogwood is showing bits of color, and the trees up and down the street are showing patches of color. One yellow tree looks like at least half, maybe 3/4 of the leaves have turned just since last night.

How is it in your neighborhood?

I noticed the dogwood is getting red. Other than that, the trees are green.

Some just have a hint of yellow...but boy! do we have A LOT of leaves on the driveway. Most are brown. Don't know why they are falling so soon...maybe the trees are drowning!

Pretty green in Fredericksburg....except for saplings...they are turning, but the larger trees are still holding onto their green! We, too, have alot of leaves down...but I think it's from the wind storms...not the autumn!!!

From the top floor of my office building in Ballston I've got line-of-sight to DC, Alexandria, and McLean. Ain't nuthin' goin' on yet. Mostly green with some isolated bits of yellows and less reds. I really hope all this rain doesn't mess with the leaves turning; it's really my favorite time of year.

I wonder if my street got a blast of unusually cold air or if we just have early turners. We have a couple of trees that pretty colorful already. But you're right, the best street around here is Algonkian Parkway and I noticed this morning that the trees still seem green there.

Some color mixed in with the greens here in Old Town / Del Ray. Nothing spectacular yet. I think the very wet weather we have been having the last month is causing a bit of a delay. It's coming though. The high peaks of WV are not only past peak, but also had anywhere from 4-10" of snow on Sat/ Sunday.

Here is a photo a friend took from the Roaring Plains / Dolly Sods area in Monongahela National Forest on Sunday. This area is generally from 3,900 feet to 4,800 feet in Elevation. Spruce Knob, almost 4,900 feet elevation had 10+" of snow. Snow Shoe also had a pretty good snow storm this weekend as well. Even Big Meadows, the summit of both Hawksbill Mountain (4,050) and Stony Man (4,011) in Shenandoah National Park got in on the snow getting a few inches.

Better them than us!!! Tree-wise, most of the 25-30 dogwoods here in Vienna/Oakton have at least started their red-ward migration. Not much else is joining in yet though. Oaks have started dumping dead brown leaves onto the lawn, but no color change so far...
