Up and coming area in PWC. Quiet area. Lots of traffic in the Gainesville area.

My boyfriend and I are currently building a home in Linton Crest with Ryan Homes. We really liked the area from the first time we visited and always came back to that subdivision in Bristow. I recommend it as a place one should consider!

We our building our home there too. Prices went up 20,000 on the base price of our home (The Savoy model) since May 2009 when we signed the contract. Check out my blog, I am writing our whole home buying/building process with Ryan homes: My Virginia Property
We are happy so far with the area, schools and community.

Just an update. We have been living in Bristow for 2 and half years now and love it. I just got my real estate license and I work with Weichert Realtors out of the Manassas office. Visit me at my new real estate site here.

Thanks.

On you can determine what's good or bad, but Linton Crest is a nice, new neighborhood in Bristow. It's close to schools, shopping, the interstate and "Jiffy Lube Live" if you're into concerts. Gainesville is nearby and has a HEAVY traffic problem, but with the changes they're making on 29 and 66, that should be alleviated soon.
