We rescued a Treeing Walker Coonhound about a year and a half ago. She is a sweet and interesting dog. Because the breed is not very common, I would love to hear from other Treeing Walker Coonhound parents to discuss temperament, experiences, etc

Dog Forums and Pet Forum - Dog Breeds and Pet News
It's a lot of very educated, knowledgeable people who can give you info on the breed via their experience. Unless you had a golden retriever or a mystery mutt, I doubt you're going to get a response from a thread like this.

http://www.akccoonhounds.org/default.asp ), they have night hunts and bench shows in Manassas all of the time. The next one is coming up. This will be your best bet to meet other coonhound owners who hunt in this area.

We have a black-and-tan coonhound and lived in Springfield until last year. Everyone (including our vet) thought he was a Doberman with unclipped ears. We now live in AL and everyone knows what he is here!

No, it's not city-data. My school blocks it for the same reasons, but I don't understand--there's nothing drug related about it. Try adding an "s" to the http:// so you get https:// and then the rest of the link. That solves the problem at school, believe it or not.
