We are moving to Linton Crest this month and have two pool loving kids. Linton Crest doesnt have an HOA pool. Does anyone know of others we can join? In Fairfax Station where we are moving from many HOA's sell associate type memberships for the season.

Thank You!!

Some Bristow/Gainesville neighborhoods also sell non-resident memberships to their pools, but they're pretty expensive ($500-$600 for the summer, if I remember correctly). Still, if you think you'd get enough use out of it to make that worthwhile, then ask someone at your HOA or on your street if they know of any such arrangement with a neighboring HOA.

In addition to the pool mentioned above in Manassas, there's a nice public pool out in Warrenton:

and there's a public pool just off of Vint Hill Road:

Pools in Haymarket/Gainesville Area

A couple months ago someone asked a similar question. It seems that a new law would require HOAs to provide wheelchair lifts if they open membership to non residents, so a lot of HOAs have stopped the practice of allowing non residents to purchase memberships.

Check the pool off of Hunting Cove Pl, across the street from Walgreens. I have friends that joined that one 2 summers ago.

We just put an offer on a home in Linton Crest. Do you mind if I ask how you like it there? Also, did you ever find a good pool to join, as we'll be looking for one as well! Thanks!
