I have a question about commuting during rush hour in the morning. I've always worked "off" hours so I have never had to deal with rush hour traffic. Lucky me!

In order to get to my new job, though, I need to go down Arlington Blvd from Gallows Rd. to Glebe Rd. so I can get to work on time at 9am.
Is it going to be all backed up the whole way?
How much time do you guys think I should allow for that stretch of Arlington Blvd??

Thanks!

Traffic is a little thick going through the Falls Church area with all the lights. Leaving around 8AM should be plenty of time to get there by 9AM. Relatively speaking, that is not that bad of a commute

It does back up in the morning, but not horrendously. Once you get past the light just after seven corners it isn't too bad. I would not be surprised if it took 20-30 minutes depending on how you hit the lights.
