Hello everyone,

I'm thinking of redoing my walkway in stone and I'm considering Bull Run cobblestone which has a really unique appearance.

Does anyone have suggestions on a good local contractor to use for the masonry work?

Thanks in advance.

Where are you? And, landscaping companies rather than masons may be more likely to do this work.

On edit: are you sure this material is used in walkways? When I glanced at the website, it appeared to be a veneer attached to walls of houses and garden walls.

I used Welcome to Masonry Specialist, LLC to build a nice slate and brick walkway about 6 years ago. It looked so good 4 other neighbors hired them as well. The did very good work and their price was fair. I got 4 quotes and felt the most comfortable with Masonry Specialists. If you go with them let me know, I think they have a referrel program.

In Vienna. I spoke to the quarry and they do use their stone for walkways - but through a contractor.

Thanks for the above referral. If I call them I will PM you.
