Default Loudoun Transit and MARC from Loudoun

"Loudoun County Transit operates rush hour service from park and ride lots in Loudoun to destinations that include West Falls Church Metro, Rosslyn, the Pentagon, and Washington, D.C." I have a bus stop one house away from my house that would take me to the lot to catch the bus to DC or Metro.

If you live in Lovettsville the MARC train is a good option.

I LOVE LOUDOUN! (resident of Fairfax County for 14 years, Montgomery County for 15 years and now in Loudoun 8 years!)

ioono, Public transit is best if you live in Fairfax or Arlington Counties. Loundon , Prince William and points south utilize the VRE trains but I have never been on those.

For new residents in the Dulles corridor, soon Metrorail will reach you guys via the Silver Line (give it 5 years)

Great list, VRE332! I think you covered just about everything, but don't forget about Zipcar, too! The number of locations where Zipcars are available are growing by the week, and as it is there are many that can be found either close to or directly at Metro stations. I haven't driven in years, but now I'm thinking about trading my State ID in for an actual license and taking advantage of them.

For the curious, just go to Zipcar.com for more info.

If you need an apartment the Parliaments offers discounts to full time students at GMU, Annadale NOVA and Marymount.
