From me zero, but from others? By now Fairfax County should have accounted for two months of plastic bag tax receipts since January 1, 2022 beginning of this. Anyone come across this info not easily searchable? Even if press release, not top news story. From offline talk and observations, it appears to be only a fraction of the success they had hoped as a tax revenue generator, albeit a small piece of the local tax revenue budget pie. Good information going into Fairfax County budget season.

I never understood it to be planned as a revenue generator, but rather a discouragement to the use of plastic bags. If revenue is relatively low then perhaps it is working as intended?

That means it’s working, lol. The whole point is to create an incentive for people to AVOID using the stores’ plastic bags.

Not me though, they made about $1 from me yesterday.
