Does anyone know any eye glasses stores with large frame selections that accept VSP insurance around NOVA or even DC and MD? Most optometrist offices I have been through have very limited frame selections and the ones in malls like Lenscrafter have more frames but none of them accept VSP. Thanks.

I know for sure Hour Eyes and My Eye Dr accept VSP. I've bought glasses/contacts through them with VSP.

Hour Eyes is not listed on VSP as provider. I had been at a few My Eyes Dr but their selections were very limited.

Hmm, it was about 5 years since I went to Hour Eyes so they might have dropped off.

Costco (assuming you're a member)? They had a decent frame selection and were not overpriced (like LensCrafters). On a quick Google search, it says you can use VSP (out of network benefit). Wish I knew more about that but I don't have VSP.

Haven't tried them personally, but when I was looking for specific glasses, a friend recommended All Eyes. Their website says they accept your insurance. All Eyes Optometrists - Convenient Locations in Fairfax, Centreville, and Culpeper

I went to lens crafters, tried their frames, found a pair I liked, and ordered them through my optometrist office. You don't have to buy what they have on the walls.

I recommend America's Best. I went their recently, and got a designer pair of glasses with the thin lenses, Transitions, and a lot of other goodies for less than $300. If I had gone to a regular doctor with my insurance it wouldn't come anywhere close to that.
