Hi,

I need to travel to Dulles Station Boulevard,Herndon, VA 20171 for some personal reason. I live in Rockville,MD (near White Flint Metro). I do not drive. I am new to this area (came from Colorado 1 month ago).

Please can anybody tell me what bus to take to teh destination?
I have to take Red line and then Orange line metro...upto this it is clear to me... (wmata website is not of much help as it is not getting the exact address and showing something else.)

Thanks,
Deb123

For Metro's trip planner you use the nearest cross streets. I looked at Google Maps and assume that the nearest cross roads are "Centreville rd & Sunrise Valley Dr". I put them in and got results on the trip planner. There might be closer cross streets than that which would find the best bus routes. The results I got were:

White Flint - Red Line Metro to Metro Center. Transfer to Orange or Blue Line to Rosslyn station. Take Metrobus 5A to Herndon-Monroe Park and ride. Transfer to Fairfax Connector Bus 927 which according to my map goes right by the street that you want.

I played with it some more and get: Red line to Orange line to West Falls Church o Fairfax Connector bus 950, which gets you close to where you're going, but would have to walk some or take 927 which crosses the 950 route.

You're welcome! Remember that those results were for Monday to Friday. Weekends may be different.
