Anyone have any thoughts on this? I'm awaiting an offer for a new job but it's down in Quantico. I'm currently in Annapolis but would consider relocating as far south as Alexandria (need to be somewhat metro-accessible). I used to commute Arlington to Springfield via 395 and *never* had bad traffic, but I don't know what it's like on the other side of the mixing bowl...

It shouldn't be bad at all. You'll run into traffic near Lorton on I95 from people trying to get to Ft. Belvoir, other than that it should be fine in the morning. Then again getting into Quantico.

One thing i would suggest would to use the far left lane when traveling by exit 166A (FFX Co Parkway.) I use that interchange to get into my job near Belvoir and it can really back up and create a mess.
