FYI - this area (at least the section closer to the end/beginning of the FFC Parkway) is getting ready for a major re alignment, as they are building an overpass to connect the current Parkway with the new road, there will be be major detours, in place for a year I believe it said.

I think this might be a contributing factor to the zero maintenance on this road from pot holes to painting/signage.

Yes, but WHICH LANE ENDS?! I've had this happen before and have had people in the "disappearing" left-hand lane battling me side-by-side when I'm in the right-hand lane almost into oncoming traffic, expecting me to yield to them when NORMALLY you "merge right" when the LEFT LANE ENDS. Add me to the list of people ticked off by the lack of line painting down here in NoVA? How can such an affluent area be so behind the curve in terms of infrastructure? Just recently they FINALLY painted lines on very busy Temporary Road in Reston to help ease congestion at the North Shore Drive intersection. WHERE ARE OUR TAX DOLLARS GOING?!!! Richmond?!

I appreciate your help ,and everyone else who shared their opinions . I have contacted vdot about the confusions on fullerton . I see that the problems are minor but so are the things neede to be done to make this rd safer for comuters. And more efficient. I only placed this concern because I was affected by this rd and it could of easily been stopped I hope that there will be change made to make our comutes safer and more efficient.

Simple. If the other guy won't yield then you do. That's the safe way to do it.

Real men yield.

The ones that don't are acting like children, ie., "ME FIRST!"
