Just came in from my 5-mile walk and all I can say is WOW--I have never seen so many people out.

The sidewalks were packed with walkers and joggers. Each little park that I passed had a group of people doing something. There were kids on every piece of playground equipment. Also people out washing cars, trimming trees, or just sitting on their steps.

Guess it's just one of those days when you want to be outside.

And I'm stuck inside doing homework! Booo, grad school. (Well, booo procrastination on my part, leaving it for the prettiest day in a long time!)

I get to enjoy it all day tomorrow right after I take an exam at 8-9am.

We just came back inside as well. My kids had a great time at the park, there were a ton of other kids out just running around. I am so, so, so happy to feel that sun on my skin!

I got out early today to walk our dog over to and around the park. Other than that, I've been inside. I'll have tomorrow, and Tuesday, to enjoy the nice weather, while most people are working.

In general, we've fallen into a routine since retirement - the weekdays are for us to do outside-the-house stuff (shopping, day trips, kayaking, etc.) and weekends are for doing inside-the-house stuff. It's a very pleasant routine.

A lovely day indeed....I went out and washed my school bus. It had at least 2 months worth of grime on it...even some of the salt from that field trip to PA in January was still on it.

I'm whooped...you think those buses are big?...try washing one, it seems like you'll NEVER get to the other end of it!

They used to pay us 2 hours to wash our buses, but with the budget, not any more. I don't care, I do it for free....gotta have a little pride, ya know!

We just came inside too. Our youngest screeched with happiness when we entered the park. She was on her riding toy and I was pushing her. Couldn't believe how big she looked on the swing compared to just 6 weeks ago. Now hubby and I are sad at the sight of yard work ahead. Little by little we'll get it in shape.

Just got back from a beautiful day at Sky Meadows -- we went hiking and happened to see some folks who camped there (tent camping) last night.
