I have noticed here, compared to other areas, the LGBT community seems to be in hiding, vs places like New York or such and the LGBT community here doesn't seem organized here that well. Like PFLAG once had a charter group here, but seems they disbanded or something.
In hiding? I wouldn't say that. Hawaii may be a more culturally conservative blue state, but it still generally is a live and let live state. Members of the LGBT community are out and about on the islands. Speaking specifically for Honolulu--which I think is the most fair comparison to places like New York that you mentioned--there are numerous gay bars and a host of pride events. There was a gay karaoke bar--Wang Chung's--that temporarily closed due to the pandemic, but I think they are open again per Yelp

Yup.
I think there used to be a bar for crossdressers in Hawaii?
There used to be a place on Kuhio Street called Hamburger Mary's. It was popular restaurant that apparently turned into a gay hangout at night. I don't know if it's still around or not. Never tried it.

Demolished in the 1990's - the Ritz Carlton took its place.

I remember a gay Group with Bill Woods, i remember one time one of the gay people at the gay group said something bad about crossdressers.
I think too that Bill Woods should have tried to control what got said at the group meeting, cause some of them were talking about stuff like drugs and wild sex which scared my mom.
Like the guy in this video says, first impressions are lasting impressions.
Seems to be a big leap to go from an employee saying certain clothes are for girls to an accusation of an employee being transphobic.
Regardless - I'd have just found someone else to help me.
Sorry.
Well in today's society with people like Caitlyn Jenner being on the news, you would expect people would be open minded about crossdressing nowadays then in the past.

When dealing with sales associates who are making $15/hr and a decent chance they have not completed high school - I tend to be more open minded on what they know or do not know.
