Cowan has sailboats, beautiful and relaxing to watch, while Caesar's Creek has inboards/outboards. All have swimming beaches, picnic areas, trails, etc.

Sounds very nice. I was afraid that there would just simply be parks with seating and maybe a small pond or two. These areas sound very nice. We have a boat and i know we will be going down to the river for boating. I heard there are some nice places along the Cincinnati Riverfront just for boats to stop, like restaurants and harbours. I cant wait to get down there. We are looking at two houses in Mason. Its really coming along.

Well, next year you'll be in time for Riverfest, the annual huge fireworks show. Boats will tie up weeks in advance just to get a good spot. The fireworks are shot off barges in the river and off a few of the bridges between Kentucky and Ohio. People come from all over the country to see this show. We also have a lot of dog parks, if you're a pet person.

What area of Mason are you looking? New home? I live near Pine Hill Lakes park in a well established 50's-60's neighborhood.

I have heard many good things about Riverfest. Looks like it will be fun. And yes, we have a dog so thats also good. Now about where im looking into, i know its in a newer development, not quite sure of the name of the development. I know the two houses we are looking at and the names of the streets, Richmond Park Drive and Buckingham Lane. Its NE of the Heritage Golf Club and south of Crooked Tree Golf Course. The entrance to the development is off of Bethany Road. There are also two homes on MeadowBrook Lane we are looking at. Have any suggestions on areas we should look into?

I don't think there is a bad place to live in Mason. Some homes may be in worse condition than others, but the city, the county are wonderful. Progressive. Caring. The schools are rated excellent. The economy is actually booming also.

I know that Mason was a very nice town. It really didnt seem to have a bad place to live in. I really liked the Community Center they had, very nice. I know Warren County is one of the fastest growing counties in the nation. Although when we were down there, there was a lot of development going on, but they seem to have it under control. It doesnt seem likes its getting crazy. Thats why i made a thread earlier about sprawl in Warren County. It seems like a very nice place with smaller cities, very progressive like you said, and lots of countryside. And Cincinnati is only 30 minutes away.

Easy access to both I-71 and I-75. Hop, skip and a jump to Dayton as well. Although after today, my short 1 mile drive home from work will turn into 30 miles as the business is relocating to Kettering. I still prefer to live in Mason and drive though.
