You can find it here....

http://www.city-data.com/city/Freeport-Ohio.html

Anyone live there, know of anyone that has, thoughts, etc.? It looks like this is where we will be moving in the next 2 months, but I would also like any info that can be sent my way that is not available on the net.

Thanks!

Hmmm....

Unfortunately, I don't, but small-town Ohio is generally a wonderful option (growing up in one was truly an awesome childhood experience). If you can, you might just want to drive around town and make "small talk" with the locals. You generally can get a pretty good idea of the "vibe" that way.

My Dad was born in Harrison County and I went back with him for his 45th and 50th high school reunions. (Dennison.)

It has to be one of the most beautiful places in the country. I loved it.

When we were down in Ohio temporarily last year we stayed about 15 miles or so outside of Dennison in Carroll County. We got to Dennison and Urichsville quite often. We did go through Freeport a couple of times. Just be careful if you don't have employment lined up; things were pretty bad for jobs. Shopping is great in New Philadelphia and also in Dover. Best of luck.
