I was coming home from work and I was pulled over by a police officer. i realized he was checking to make sure I had driving privileges. When I gave him the papers it was out of date! I honestly did not think to check the date because I have not drove because I finally got a job last week. If I go in and get a continuance on my suspended driving privileges to work, what would happen when I went to my court date? Would I still be able to get privileges. Or what would happen if I just got my license reinstated before the court date? I. AM. FREAKING OUT!

You may want to wait to see what the judge is going to go before you get your licenses reinstated. Besides, the state may not allow that to happen since you were stop by the police and all this info will be passed throughout the L.E.A.D.S L aw E nforcement A utomated D ata S ystem, which is linked strait into the state computers. Now, you may want to show the judge that your truly making an attempt to go strait, but I wouldn't screw with the judge on this one, you will loose. As they say, "Ignorance of the Law is no excuse", you knew what your obligations were to the courts.
