We're planning an afternoon visit to OKC tomorrow (Friday, 2/26/10) coming from Texas.
Forecast says snow early morning than clear to Partly cloudy.

How much snow is on the ground now (if any) and any idea what driving conditions will be like?
Thanks.

No snow on the ground now. Local tv stations are saying we'll get 1"-2" tonight and into tomorrow. The It's suppose to be in the upper 30's tomorrow so I'm guessing the roads will clear off relatively quickly.

Koco.com is saying 2-4" of accumulation with high of 42*.
The National Weather Service is also saying 2-4" but a high of 40*.

An afternoon visit shouldn't be too bad...

Thanks! 1st visit to OKC. Looking forward to driving around the city, stopping off at the Cattlemen's restaurant. Read good & poor reviews but gotta try it for ourselves!

Yeah what a let down. Co-worker that lives in Norman said it snowed at his house pretty good. Just got a bit we at mine. The fact I had to change a tire this morning I am actually glad it didn't snow.

It was disappointing to me too. But, it was going to melt by the end of the day anyway and it made for an easier drive to school in the morning.

In Stillwater, it did nothing more than drizzle for that forecasted 2 to 4" snowstorm.
