From what I can tell most of rural OK outside of OKC/Tusla area doesn't have zoning/build codes by county. Supposedly OK Fire Marshall has some authority in these area.

Can anyone confirm if such are actually require permit for electrical work? Thanks

I live in a rural area in Pawnee County (Tulsa area) and we don't. Your best bet is to call the OK fire marshall.
