Default tying down a pull behind trailer, how is the VA?

Still planning on moving, have been on hold because of low house sales and then they opened me uo to fix a hernia 2 days before Christmas and found cancer-my 6 months of chemo is up in Sept..Plan to put house on market in summer.Sooo glad we will not be moving to OK in summer ! I love storms-George on the other hand will watch the weather channel during the tornado season and hyperventilate.I want to buy land (5 acres +),got to be within a 45 minute drive of the Muskogee VA (we are both vets). My homework says they can treat cancer there if I need it later on.Love fishing and hills, hope the forum can point me to a good area toward Tenkiller, I like a clear water lake.I would like to live in my pull behind trailer while making improvements to the land. Can they be tied down to a pad? This is for Georges peace of mind.If my prognosis is bad,I still want to farm on a very small scale.I don't want to tie the boy down to a house or have to clean one .Rather be outside gardening or with the animals.George has bad COPD,we have to plan things very carefully. Thank you, Rebecca and George

You can have any kind of trailer anchored, it's just not considered useful or cost-effective when it's a camper. But there are a lot of campers that do have anchors in NW WA, they were once towed seasonally, then eventually parked and left on private land. It cost about 50-75.00 each to have anchors [tie downs] installed there. A larger place, like the one I sold which was approx 1,000 sf, had 8 anchors in total installed. It does make a difference in getting insurance and sellability later on. It also gives more stability for skirting, which also helps a lot in both summer heat and winter cold. And the better the skirting - as in solid wood - the less chance there is of a high wind scooping under it and causing problems.
