Considering an apartment over near the area of I-80 and Q street on T Plaza. Is this a pretty good area to be at?

It's rather far west. If that's what you want then yes. You would be near a small commercial district, and would not be that far from Millard. I myself prefer to be on the east side, though the crime rate is slightly higher. Guess it all depends on where you will work. I prefer to be close (5 miles or less) to my place of employment.

It is a quiet suburban part of town. It is only a 15 minute drive to downtown. Omaha sprawls much further West then this part of town. To some people living at 192nd and Q Street this area is practically Midtown. It's a nice area with easy access to the Interstate.

I like that area. Are there specific apartments that you are looking at? We might be able to comment more specifically.

The Citadel I think are the cheap ones in the area. But you get the typical lack of rennovations and the crowd that comes along with that. Don't leave anything valueable in your car at these apartments.

Well. . I unfortunately don't have any experience with those. I know the location is great. Pretty close to the interstate, walking distance to a park, and lots of shopping and restaurants.

I found a few mixed reviews here. Pacific Ridge Apartments Ratings, Reviews, Map, Rents, and other Omaha apartments for rent from ApartmentRatings.com

Looks like they are privately owned. This can be good or bad I guess.

I live 1 block north of Pacific Ridge, at Muirfield Apt. Nothing to complain about so far.
