Does anyone know why The Rock in downtown Papillion doesn't do shows anymore? The metro has so many great concert venues and for a while, The Rock had some great bands playing there. My first concert was there and I remember between 2007-2008 going to about 15 concerts, most of which were nationally known artists.

I know they stopped shows a while ago but I'm just curious if anyone knows why.

That's pretty close. I think the Rock is at 225 S. Washington. Aren't they some sort of church now?

I miss the cog factory :/

Side note, what was the name of the teen "bar" hangout downtown (i think it was downtown, maybe council bluffs?) that some local bands played at? I only went a few times but it was like a non-alcoholic bar that catered to teens. They played rock music, not really "club" music.

I remember that place you are talking about, I can't remember the name either though. There was another teen club, that played club music, but I think this one was in West Central Omaha. I remember around, oh had to be 97-99, a group of the social conservatives in Omaha started making a fuss about the club and KETV even did a story on it.
