Here are some of the Christmas lights I took around Downtown. Mainly the Gene Leahy Mall.

Here are a few I took over the weekend.

From Mutual of Omaha over looking the Midtown Crossing construction.

From Harrah's casino in Council Bluffs, Iowa.

The enormous Midtown Crossing at Turner Park project... DTO took the picture from the tall building in the center of the rendering below... looking toward the bottom. $250 million, seven structures, 200,000 sq feet of retail/restaurant/entertainment space, 600 condominiums and apartments, underground parking for 2,000 vehicles. DTO's wide angle photo sort of distorts the true size of the development.

Thanks star gazer. Hopefully we will be in Omaha sometime in February. We'll have to get downtown to check it out.

The building I'm in is my former employer, Mutual of Omaha. Mutual is paying for the whole project.

I think my picture does a good job showing how massive the project is if I say so myself. Look how small the construction workers in the bottom of the picture look. My picture cuts out a few of the other areas under construction too.
