If your looking for a real down home dinning experience Richie's Chicken is for you.
35th and Center Street Omaha, NE
I cannot tell you how long this place has been open, but I think about 40+ years. When you eat here you feel like your in small town Nebraska, seemed like the other customers all knew each other.
The service is fantastic Lisa is a gem waiting tables, Richie the owner is a hard working guy who really cares about his customers. During our time there he hugged and was hugged by most all the lady customers thanking him for a great meal.
The Food is all cooked to order. Great chicken full of flavor. Large pieces. Comfort food cooked with care.
I give 5 out of 5.
For being a great little chicken joint.

I’ve been eating there for a number of years whenever I’m back visiting relatives in town. Great chicken, they also have good lunch specials, everything is home cooked by the son of the original owner who passed away a number of years ago. It’s been a long long time neighborhood hangout for many of the people who live in the area. Their chicken is the best!
