Omaha just voted to keep bars open till 2:00 A.M..

We did a little midnight run on the FATBOY tonight since the temp was not so sticky and hot.

At 1:15 A.M. all the joints were hopping. Parking lots full, smokers filled the outside beer gardens.

Omaha loves to drink late night. They should go till 3:00 A.M..

Why does it take Omaha so long to get with the times?

Bar hours are regulated at the state level. I'm sure you already, just couldn't pass up another chance to dig at Omaha though.

I am man enough to say that I am wrong sometimes.......with that said, seems the peeps of Omaha really like the extra hour to drink.

We did venture into the old market very crowded at 1:00 A.M.

dont forget the beer gardens lighting foreworks off at night

and relieving themselves more in public since they are drinking more

that has helped omaha's bar hours and reputation

how bout they have bars go to being hope 24 hours

and get rid of drunk driving laws cause that would help Omaha become the far-left paradise some want it to become

Doesn't affect me I guess. I don't live close to a beer garden. There were only a couple of times I was out until the 1AM closing time and thought to myself, I wish I could stay here later. By 1AM I was ready to hit up Taco Bell and head home.

Who would that be? Personally I'm plenty happy with 2:00am. 3:00am would be better, but at least now we're on par with other major cities.
