The Omaha Cliche Shot 7/16

Another Omaha Photographer dubbed this spot the "Cliche" shot. The clouds were really cool last night and there was no wind. I have shot from here in the past several times, but I am always trying to get the best shot.

nice shot, great advertisement for showing your photography skills. i always have liked city shots especially at night. it can make the worst looking city skyline seem very attractive. i do wish omaha had kept a few more of the downtowns old buildings, that makes cities look unique. most cities are guilty of that crime.

Awesome! You prove that just because a photo location is cliche, doesn't mean you shouldn't shoot it. It is often the quality of light and the sky that makes a photo, not the subject!

Great job including the Holland Center. Usually that's excluded in "the" shot.
