WonderCon Leaving Anaheim for Los Angeles in 2016 | Deadline

They may well land Comicon too now. I cannot believe this played out so badly for Anaheim.

First off, Anaheim was only its temporary home and it may be back in 2017. Second, they wanted to move the date from the first weekend in April to the last weekend in March next year and it was already booked. Anaheim couldn't accommodate them for those dates. Comic-Con won't be headed to LA. They already tried to get them to move there years ago, even offering the convention center for $1, but they don't have enough hotels around the LA convention center area to accommodate CC. Comic-Con can move in 2017, right when the expansion of the Anaheim convention center is complete and Anaheim has already formally submitted a bid. Id bet it goes to Anaheim.

Well come on, if you had to choose LACC or ACC, LA wins. It's a much, much larger convention center with a whole lot more parking. Why NAMM hasn't left is beyond me.

You have no clue what you are talking about. The Anaheim convention center is already the largest convention center on the west coast and its about to get even larger with the 200,000 square foot expansion starting in Oct. Of course the LA CC has more parking spaces, Anaheim doesn't need it. There are close to 50 hotels within two blocks of the Anaheim CC (thanks to Disneyland across the street), there are like 3 within the same distance in LA.
