Hi, just moved into Buena park California. I am looking for the new pot shops in this area since it became legal this year. Like Anaheim, cypress, Buena Park area. I did a google search and the numbers I called are delivery only, and require a medical card, which cost 45. And the other shops did not answer at all. I heard they have stores up and running in Los Angeles but I dont want to drive that far. I might have to if I dont find a shop here, I heard all that is required is an ID card saying you are over 21. Thank you for your help

I haven't used it but everyone says just use weedmaps. I know some exist in Santa Ana and Costa Mesa.

I did use weed maps and they dont answer, only delivery answer... I want to know if its up and running instead of driving out there without knowing.

I saw one on dale and ball road, but they dont pick up. its not far from me I could check it out, I just want a for sure shop.

People's OC in Santa Ana. Just off the 55 Freeway by the E. Dyer Road exit. 2721 S Grand Ave, Santa Ana, CA 92705

Nice place although their parking lot is somewhat small. Cash only.

Two other nearby locations, one takes credit cards for sure, if you need that.

It's called "420 Central" located at (surprisingly) 420 W Central Ave, Santa Ana, CA 92707

Nice place as well. The area around 420 Central is machine shops and warehouses. Seems a bit strange when you first go into that immediate location but it's typical for an industrial park area. You just don't expect a retail business to be in there.

Another is ShowGrow 1625 E St Gertrude Pl, Santa Ana, CA 92705

All three are pretty close together, close enough to visit and compare prices, and then pick your favorite.

is it a 21 and older California ID card all I need? Or do they require a medical card? and thank you, the ones you mentioned are kind of far from me. I am located near Knot Ave and Katella.

No medical card needed. Before legalization those shops required a medical card, or at least two of them. But once it became legal they could sell to everyone over 21.

It's a little distance from you, but you could stock up while you're there so you wouldn't need to return for quite a while.

When legalization occurred I was very interested to see if it would help my sleep issues. I have some kind of spinal trouble in my neck and also tinnitus. It makes sleeping difficult sometimes. Cannabis helps some, especially the edibles because the effect is more gradual and it lasts longer through the night.

It helps, but it's not consistent enough for me to keep buying it. The edible products are not cheap. So it's just very occasional use now.

You want cheap, good edibles? do a search for Jolly Farms on weedmaps. They only deliver and they are in Huntington Beach somewhere, but they have a few different small edibles like snicker doodles that have 192 mg that sell for 5.00 each. I haven't used edibles for a while, but those were the best bang for the buck edibles that I have ever found. I just checked their website and they still sell them. Be careful, they are very potent and if you don't have high tolerance a quarter of one should be fine.

Thanks I'll definitely check them out. That's much cheaper than what I was paying at the other dispensaries. It just wasn't cost effective for me.

I tried yelp, they dont answer, so im risking it going and finding no shop, or they only accept medical cards. I dont even own my own car, that's why I have not tried hitting the places mentioned up. if I do get a car, I want a for sure thing to drive to.... a place that sells to 21 and over people.

last number I tried was 714 230 9164 no answer..maybe I am calling at the wrong time?
