Howdy all:

On this rainy cold May day, I am thinking of the summer's travels. Hart Mountain Antelope Preserve and Warner Wetlands have been on my list for years, but I have never made the trip. I would like to do some canoeing, bird and antelope watching. Would mid to late June be a good time.

Any comments on the area are much welcomed!

Probably not this year, as this promises to be the Mosquito Season From Hades - same for the Cascades. I'd wait until later in the year, unless you are one of those highly enviable people that mosquitoes don't bite.

Yeah, I was thinking the bloodsuckers would be fierce this year. Perhaps I can wait until July.

I'd probably go ahead and wait more until late August/Early September. The weather should still be pretty good and bugs down.
