Default Where does the southern OR climate begin?

How far after Eugene will you find sun? I really never venture out south so Im curious.

I have friends in Roseburg who insist it starts there and I agree with them in that you could say that Roseburg is the transitional point of where Western Oregon rainfall amounts become less and less and the heat rises significantly.

Chris is right. Roseburg is much drier than Eugene but not as nearly as harsh as Medford. We've lived in Medford, Roseburg, Portland and the Seattle area. As for weather, Roseburg is by far the best in the NW (IMHO). As for culture, not so much...
