Hello, Is there anybody out there willing to share some info re: dental schools that they have been to or heard about in Oregon? Public or Private?
I have heard many good things about this state and would love to explore the educational options.
Specialty info in any dental are would be especially helpful. THanks and have a groovy day!

Hi, there groovyday3! You might try Oregon Health and Sciences University - ohsu.org.

I think it's the only Level 1 trauma center around here, too. I know they have a dental program - a young lady I know just got back from two months in Thailand helping people who've had absolutely no dental care their entire lives (arranged by OHSU). She will graduate from OHSU dental school this summer!

You should find a wealth of info on that website. It's situated in Portland, and has a huge, huge campus. Good luck to you!

Oops! I've been corrected - Emanuel is a Level 1 trauma center as well.

Thanks Seebee, your feedback was much appreciated. I will look into the website and see what the univ. has to offer. It is wonderful to hear about the young lady who ventured out to Thailand to help people. I have been fortunate enough to help others with my knowledge in remote or almost forgotten places in different countries. I honestly think i am the one who benefits most, you just can't beat the smile you receive from a complete stranger, no words are necessary and all is good! It makes it all worth it.
Thanks and take care.
