Digital signs that you swipe with finger. They tell you how to get back to a main road if you are lost. Or pre-printed signs.

This is not flat Florida, this is mountainous terrain, often heavily forested, with many roads that are not "roads" so much as gravel (or plain dirt) paths. You'll find places like this all through the intermountain west. That isn't going to change and it doesn't really need to change.
