DocMcp is on a distinguished road
Default Talent, Ashland, Eagle Point: what can you tell me?

Thinking of moving to any of these, as well as Applegate Valley. Do you have a preference? Is one area better than another? Any weather differences? Would appreciate your comments. Thanks!
Brian

Hello DocMcp, I lived in this area 30+ years, moved away 7 years ago, but I Know Ashland, Eagle Point, and Talent still share the same air as Medford, dirty, smoggy in late summer and in the winter. Applegate Area has much cleaner air, with same weather without the winter fog, beautiful area. Only disadvantage is distance from work/services, the largest town in Applegate Valley is Ruch, more a village than a real town. You might also consider Illinois Valley, (Cave Junction) area past Grants Pass, same climate.

Well I have been to Ashland a few times and it's a very pretty town of about 20,000 people. There's lots of trees and tudor style buildings in town.

Here is a site the will give you an overview on Ashland. http://www.el.com/to/ashland/
