Hi all!

My family of six is moving to the area in July (husband is coming down next week to secure work) and I'm wondering if there are any property management companies that aren't so nice to deal with. We've dealt with a few of those up here and would rather avoid the crappy ones if possible. We had problems with PMs who wouldn't take care of issues (had a large hole in our ceiling from June until we moved out the following January and had to get the city inspectors involved) and the like.

Thanks in advance for the information!

Jessica

The way your question is worded it's going to be hard to get an answer without someone violating the terms of service.
Posters are not allowed to give negative reviews of/or bash businesses on this forum.

Now if you were to ask which ones they could recommend you will probably get a better response.

I'd make sure your husband finds a job first--I wouldn't be so sure that he'll "secure work" next week.

Thanks for the advice - you make a great point! I'm not sure that I can edit the post now...

Thanks for your advice, as well. We have some money put aside to help once all of us move down, but we also have family (who my husband will stay with rent free until July) in the area who are able to get him into their respective companies if he doesn't find anything on his own. He's been in touch with several employers over the past month, though.
