I have a friend I am trying to help find a good SS attorney. She's looking for a small local firm, not one of these big ones that you don't even meet the attorney. Also, if any of them would come out to her house. She's pretty much home bound and it would make it easier. Does anyone have any recommendations?

Sanford/Lake Mary area would be best as well.

Thanks.

I am going for Social Security Disability right now and I am using Freedom Disability Advocates. They are not necessarily lawyers although they have lawyers on staff but seem to be former employees of Social Security and know how to go about getting your benefits. I just started using them so I will see how they are. The good thing is, is you dont pay them unless they win you your benefits and then you pay them 25% of the back pay. Most lawyers will tell you to apply for disability first and then if you get a denial then call a lawyer. I went with this company because I looked up their record and they have a 90% approval rating of getting your benefits. Its so hard to get benefits and most times they deny you and you have to appeal and thats when you call a lawyer!!

Hope this helps somewhat!

Hey If it is the matter of social security disability attorny than you must visit a legel and expertise lawyer. My friend's relatives was in the same position last year and they had consulted with Harold skovronsky. He is an experienced lawyer in new york. You can also consult with him.

You can also get in touch with the Orange County Bar Association -- they have a lawyer referral service. The OCBA's web page gives you all the information under the heading "Need a Lawyer?"

Hi, You should consult a good lawyer about your case, or a specialized disability lawyer.
