Does anyone know where I can buy discount tickets to Universal Studios? I plan to be in Orlando next week but all of the fun stuff is so expensive.

Be careful. A scam that was selling what amounted to stolen tickets on Craigs List was just busted here.

I was watching Central Florida News 13, which is like a local CNN Headline News, and they were talking about a scam with people selling discount tickets.

There may be some companies out there giving out free or legitimate discount tickets, but there are strings attached. They are most likely timeshare companies. They will promise you free tickets if you come to a seminar about purchasing a timeshare. They are legal, but the big financial people, like Suze Orman and my favorite, Dave Ramsey, say they are not worth the money. They pretty much don't let you leave the room until you sign a contract for the timeshare. Is that worth getting a free ticket?

To the OP, there are things you can do if you did not plan ahead and save money for the trip, that are less expensive at the theme parks, just hang out at Citywalk, check out a couple of clubs there ( my fav is Bob Marley's), catch a movie at the CW theater, have a nice meal at a restaurant there. As others have said, you are taking a chance trying to cut corners with discount tickets. The only other way I can think of is if you knew someone who worked there.
