Any suggestions for good online maps of the neighborhoods of Orlando? Meaning the ones close to downtown. Which are the safest neighborhoods?

I also recommend Google Maps. It even allows you to see city and neighborhood borders. The Street View feature is also useful.

Yes, this is a good resource. Usually if you put in the name of the neighborhood it will outline it for you.

I second Bungalower for all your Downtown Orlando and Orlando metro needs. Fantastic, comprehensive, and up to date resource. Google Maps is beneficial in many ways too.

What helps me also are zipcode maps when I'm trying to discern a neighborhood, such as Zip Code Finder and Boundary Map. If you know the general zipcode of what neighborhood you are looking for, this will show all the boundaries in color.

Good Downtown (and close vicinity) zipcodes, as a rule of thumb, are:

32801: Central District, Lake Eola, Church Street, and Thornton Park
32803: Milk District, Audubon Park, ViMi/Mills 50 and "Little Vietnam", North Lake Como
32806: South Downtown ("SoDo"), Delaney Park, South Lake Como
32814: Baldwin Park
32804: College Park
32789: Winter Park proper (Outer reaches of Winter Park is 32792)
