I recommend.........ATI = A Thorough Inspection, inc. (Orlando based company)

Why? First off they killed me on an inspection of the house I was trying to sell. It was all legitimate stuff and very thorough. I hated them because of it :-) but sure enough I used them to inspect the new house we moved into. The builder was not really ready the day of the inspection of the new house so ATI did the inspection anyway and still came back a week later to do a final inspection just to help. Awesome customer service!

NOTE: For anyone considering selling a used home, it pays to have an inspector come out first and find things and get them fixed. If I had done this I would of saved a considerable amount of money because it caused my first deal to fall through and I had to settle for a lower second deal after I got the stuff fixed anyway.

Good luck regardless.

Wow! Very disappointed to hear this. I'm sorry you had a poor experience with your Realtor.

It is a short sale, and maybe towards the end I will hear from the realtor more - the seller opted for a mitigation team, so hoping that will pull the rabbit out of the hat.

We had an inspector from Certified Building Inspectors, and he was good.
