I am going to retire and thinking of renting in Winter Springs, FL. I want to live in an area with people my age. Demographics show this area is mostly young professionals with children. Anyone know about this area. Thanks

Quiet area with mostly 35-50 year olds raising kids. Really not much to do at all.

I'd suggest Mount Dora.

One of my Brother In Laws lived there for many years, never married, no children, had his own business, hated the HOA but could not find a home without and HOA, seemed to like it while he was there, moved to a different state several years ago.

It is a bit off from Winter Springs but have you looked into Solivita?

We visited there in Nov. Gosh what a cool place (and friendly people). This is a possibility for us in a few years.

Winter Springs has a nice mix of people, some young, some older. If you're looking for a place where everyone is retirement age, this isn't it. That would be The Villages.

But they do have a nice senior center. Senior Center
