I'm relocating to Orlando in the next couple of months. I found a condo to rent in Metro West. How is this neighborhood (crime, convenience)? Thanks.

Ok...here's a more realistic answer to your question.

What part of MetroWest are you looking at? The area boardered by Kirkman is a world away from the area boardered by Hiawassee. My niece and her husband live just south of the golf course and love it.
They walk every night. Grocery shopping is convienient as are some decent restaurants.
They have no fear of high crime.
Now on the Kirkman side you couldn't pay me to live there.

You'll find that people like to paint entire areas with one large brush.

I agree, as I have a friend that lives in the same area and it's beautiful, and he's had no problems. That being said, I would opt to live somewhere else if I had the choice.
