Hello all,

Can anyone recommend a reputable modeling agency in Orlando that has a children division. My daughter is two years old and am interested in getting her involve in ads, photo shoots etc. Can someone suggest one and their number. Thanks.

Im not sure to be honest but i can ask around for you. I do know and have heard it advertised on XL 106.7 that there is an annual casting held here in Orlando where reps from Universal, Disney and the like hold casting calls for children. I think they have already held the one for this year but they do it once a year.

There was/is an agency on 17-92 in Winter Park that is reputable. I can't remember the name of it though.

Try Slate Modelng in Orlando...My daughter attends John Robert Powers Acting and Modeling School. They bring in companies for auditions 2-3 times a month (including Slate, Ford, magazines, etc). My daughter auditioned and was invited into Slate and they seemed pretty good but we dropped the ball and she (my daughter) did not do all the things she was supposed to do. There are so many agencies here. We were only here (transferred from NY) a couple of months and my daughter was called back to 2 companies. I would suggest getting your baby into a school when she is a little older...that way you don't have to track down all these companies.

My niece went to John Casablanka (sp?) school of modeling, it was off I think the Longwood exit of I 4. Not sure what their scope of services are but I was impressed with their professionalism when I went to a couple of her shows there.

2 Years old is a hard age to find an agency that will represent them. Reason behind this is that most directors find it hard to direct a child so young. When it comes to a lot of these ads and commercials there are typically 2 or 3 that do the ad and whichever looks best in the long run is the one that gets picked. There are several agencies in the area that you can try, you never know what can happen.
